WHO WE ARE

Space Shot is an indie rock group from Massachusetts. Two lifelong friends, Jack Consolo (vocals/bass) and James Walton (guitar), wanted to create a band with a genre blend of an alternative/indie sound mixed with classic rock influences. They spent their first few years in Burlington, Vermont, throwing house parties for the college-town area.

The band’s debut album, Be With You In A Moment, was released on October 20th, 2023. Tracing back to 2016, many songs in the album reflect Jack and James’s experiences of isolation and wanting to be seen. The album is stylistically a journey through Space Shot’s musical inspirations, from punk to waltz ballads and surf rock.

In mid-2024, Conner Johnson took the role of drummer for live shows and the production of the band’s sophomore album, Someone Keeping The Lights On. Prolific musician David Drouin of Cold Engines helped to produce their sophomore record, allowing Space Shot to bring their more ambitious concepts to life. Which made use of unconventional instruments, varispeed, and changing time signatures.

Someone Keeping The Lights On was released on May 25th, 2025. The album’s lead single, Delivery Service, displays the band utilizing string arrangements and a more melancholic mood. Attributes that are emblematic of the rest of the album.

While the band continues to play shows in the New England area to perform both of their albums, they also plan to begin production on their next project.
